I think the time has come to end this blog and go out on a high note as it were. After two and a half years, I feel like I’ve covered all the really good stuff about moving to a new country and the blog’s just become a travel itinerary, really. And, nobody wants to read about somebody else’s holiday weekends, do they? That’s like back in the day when your neighbors would invite you over to watch the slide show of their vacation. How many times can you be expected to oooh and aaah over Little Johnny hugging a giant redwood or mugging in front of the Golden Gate Bridge? Not many, I’ll wager.
Many of you have been enjoying the pictures of Switzerland, so I will continue to post photo albums on the Trailing Spouse Blog Facebook page here: Trailing Spouse Photo Albums
Perhaps I’ll pick the blog back up again once we get the chalet and rename it Trailing Spouse Goes Native or something. I hope you’ve enjoyed reading about all of my trials and tribulations adjusting to my new life as a trailing spouse. I know I’ve enjoyed all of your feedback. For all of you future Swiss ex-pats out there who have any questions, just leave them on the Facebook page and I’ll attempt to answer them.
Au revoir et bonne journee, mes amis
